FAQ

Q: Do you have a waitlist?
A: No, I do not and I won't ever make one! If you're interested in commissioning me, you'll have to apply through the given form, whenever I open them.

Q: How do I apply and how does it work?
A: Applications should generally open every 3-4 months (times may vary) and once they are, I will be opening up google forms. They will stay open for ~1-2 week(s). During that time, you will be able to fill out the form(s).
Once I have decided, I will contact the person a few days later. I won't be able to inform everybody who wasn't picked, so keep an eye on my twitter as I will be posting there once everyone has been contacted.
More info can be found here

Q: Do I need a finalised .psd file before applying for a Live2D rig?
A: Yes you do*. Otherwise I won't be able to judge the complexity of the commissions and/or the state of the .psd that I'd have to work with.

*Exceptions may apply, but most likely only, if I know the artist and/or have worked with them before.
Even then it won't always be the case, so expect a "no".

Q: Do you need a .psd file with seperated layers to animate my artwork?
A: No, in theory I can work off of most .png files, but if that is the case there will be an additional fee charged and I also won't be able to make very complex movements with it.
If you can provide a .psd file with layers that are well seperated, no such fee will apply, if the separation actually helps. A lot of times, even with a separated .psd file, I have to do a lot of adjustment work and change the layering and at that point it's only very little help, which is why in cases like this, a fee would still apply, but to a lesser extent.

Q: Do you allow payment plans?
A: Generally, yes I do, but it depends on how long I'd have to wait for the payments and/or how my curent situation allows for it. Either way, it would have to be discussed privately.

Q: Why didn't you choose my application?
A: Multiple reasons, probably. I usually choose depending on design, how flexible your timeframe is, state of the .psd file and so on! Already having an active streaming schedule/background or something might also increase your chances, as I would like to see the model/animations being used in action a lot!

Commision Forms

Each of these buttons will send you to the specific commission form.
If you have any questions feel free to contact me via E-mail or Twitter DM.
Make sure to read my TOS before applying for any of these.

Application Process

Application Phase

You will fill out the corresponding form of whatever you would like to commission from me.

Waiting Phase

After applying, you will have to wait for roughly 1-2 weeks for me to contact you.If I don't contact you at all, that means I haven't picked your application and you will have to apply again next time.

Submission Phase

I'll contact you and discuss the finer details of your commission with you, decide on a final price and come up with a rough timeframe of when I can start with your order.

Booking Fee

After the down payment* has been made, you will be added to my to-do list.

*The down payment is 10% of the base price. Please make sure you are ready before reserving a slot. It will also be deducted from the final price. This is to prevent cancellations from happening and delaying everything. Booking fee might be disregarded, if the total price of the order is too low.

PSD/PNG Analysis

I will request the discussed file from you to go over it in more detail once again. For Rigging: If needed, I will make a list of changes for the artist to ensure that my work will go as smoothly as possible and give it to you/the artist. For Animations: I'll simply go over it again, usually the artist won't have to do anything at all.

first Payment

Once I am ready to start working on your commission, I will inform you and send an invoice to you via PayPal for the first payment we've decided on (booking fee deducted).Work will start once the first payment has been made.

Work Process

Workflow

Once I start working on your model, I will update you often with WIPs.How many depends on the progress I make and the order of how I do things, but generally you can expect at least one WIP for every major milestone (eg. head movement/physics, facial movement, body movement/physics, ...).I like sending WIPs and generally send a lot, so if you are against that in any way be sure to let me know and I will keep it to a minimum!

Testing & Updates

Each time I send a WIP you can give your input, but I won't change every tiny little thing as our time is limited. In that regard, I will send you test runtime files for you to play around with in VTS or whatever program you will use. These will also include my own settings for the tracking as a base for you. Once sent, I will continue with the model, but you can take your time and look for changes you'd like me to make and then we can discuss them together.
Again, I won't be able to change every little thing and some changes might have to wait until a later date.
How many test files I send depends on the complexity of the model, but I will send at least 3:
☆ 1 for the finished Head XYZ (with physics)
☆ 1 for the finished Body XYZ (with physics)
☆ 1 for the finished Model with everything included

Payments

Depending on the payment plan we agreed upon, you will have to make several payments throughout the process. Generally speaking, you can make those at your leisure, but certain test files (i.e. finished Body XYZ) will require you to have made enough payments. This is simply to ensure my safety, as giving out a finished Head + Body XYZ file for VTS runs the risk of the client taking it and simply never paying the rest.
With that in mind, I'll require the full payment to have been made, before I can give out the completed model to you for the same reasons as stated previously.
I understand that this might sound very paranoid, but I ask you to respect this decision.
Either way I'll continue working on the model and sending WIPs. This is solely in regards of giving out test files for use in VTS.

Final Delivery

After you've tested enough and decide you're okay with everything, I will send you the final set of runtime files you need.

Setting Up

I wll help you set up your tracking settings for the model in a call with you! This is theoretically optional, but I would like to make sure that everyone gets the most out of their model, as I wouldn't want anyone to miss out on anything, because of settings that aren't suited to them as this does also reflect on my skills as a rigger!I'm already including most of what I think would be best in my own test files, but especially mouth settings are a tricky thing, which is why I really recommend accepting my help on this.

Closing Phase

After everything has been delivered, you will have exactly 14 days to ask me for specific revisions. These have to be discussed in detail, as major revisions won't be doable just like that (eg. you wanting larger head angles) and have to be scheduled for a later date, where as smaller ones should be no problem.Once the 7 days are over, every revision will be reviewed on a case by case basis and will also require a fee to be worked on.

Disclaimer

By purchasing my services you automatically agree to all of the following conditions. Please read this entirely and carefully.
If you have any questions, please cosult the FAQ.

How I Animate

Before commissioning me, you need to understand that I do not animate anything frame by frame. I animate by using a variety of programs (mainly Live2D and After Effects) to deform/transform the provided artwork and separate it into multiple layers. For this reason, it is impossible to draw or animate completely new features, thus my work space is limited and some things will simply be impossible to make. Please keep this in mind and possibly educate yourself on how Live2D works beforehand as to not get surprised, when your wishes can not be fulfilled.

Providing Artwork

If you want to commission me for an animation, you need to provide the artwork you want me to animate yourself. I do not draw anything myself , I simply take
pre-existing illustrations and use cool tech magic to animate them.
For rigging commissions I require a fully finished .psd file - otherwise I most likely won't work on it.

Pre-Layered Artwork for animation

A .psd file with separated layers isn't required in most cases, when it comes to animation. I can work off of a normal .png, but keep in mind that this will come with additional fees, less possible complexity of the animation and overall slower delivery time.I reserve the right to make small changes to the overall layering of the artwork and the ability to add things that would improve the overall animation quality. These changes will never, in any way, shape or form, drastically change the design or style of the artwork and are only for better functionality of the animation. If the client and/or the artist are against me changing the given file, no matter what, then I will respect their wishes, but the client will have to tell me this wish directly, when discussing their commission with me or at least before I start working on it. Should they not tell me this, then I will assume that they are okay with me making small changes to the given file.

Original Artist

Before purchasing my services, you need to make sure that you have the original artists consent. Since there is no reliable way for me to always be able to reach every artist of every commissioner, the client will...☆ ...talk to their artist directly and ask for their consent.
☆ ...take full responsibility, if they did not ask for consent and the original artist speaks out against this commission.
Please make sure you've done this before commissioning me.

Final Files

For animated emotes the client will receive...*☆ ...28/56/112px GIF files to use on Twitch.
☆ ...GIF file (less than 256kb) to use on Discord.
☆ ...APNG file to use as animated sticker on Discord.
☆ ...1.000px GIF file to post on social media (if wanted).

For illustrations the client will receive...☆ ...MP4 or MOV files in the original size.
☆ ...MP4 or MOV files in 1920x1080.

For rigging the client will receive...☆ ...a .zip file with the needed runtime files and my own test tracking settings.**

*Different file sizes can be requested by the client, but not
everything might be possible.
**Live2D .cmo file will not be included.

COMMERCIAL USE

Each item delivered comes with a commercial license. This means, you can use it for streaming and other commercial activities. The Intellectual Property of the work will stay with the client. You cannot sell the model file without first informing me and the artist of the work.

My Rights

I retain the rights to use the model as part of my portfolio and as an example of my Live2D rigging/animation. This includes the ability to create a feature video or example of the model’s movement and/or streaming the process.Wanting me to stay private with a commission, will require an additional fee to be payed.

Private Commissions

If you request the commission to be private, I will not post any WIPs and I won't stream the process at all, but an extra fee will be incurred*. This is because I lose out on my chance to display my current skills for potential customers. It will also be tagged as private on my to-do list, meaning it won't show what exactly your order was and instead only show your name and numbers without any further description. If you'd also like me to additionally completely hide your name, then that is no problem, you'll just have to tell me!

*This only applies until you have shown the model/animation online yourself (e.g. debut). Once you do, I will be able to post the finished piece myself.

You aren't allowed to...

☆ ...change, modify or edit my work without my permission.
☆ ...reproduce and sell the animation without my permission.
☆ ...use my animation/rigging as a base for anything, meaning you're not allowed to trace over my animation/rigging in any way.
☆ ...claim the animation as your own or anyone elses other than mine.

I won't animate

Hardcore offensive/vulgar/sexual/fetish-y/... artworks.I'm not against sexual stuff in general, as long as it is not too overdone and hardcore, but keep in mind that I can always turn down the commission, if I feel too uncomfortable with it.There is also no point in trying to discuss it with me. If I don't feel comfortable,
then Iask you to respect it.
Thank you.

Cancellation & Refunds

You get a full refund if the work is not completed.
If you choose to cancel:
After the booking fee has been paid: You will not be refunded the booking fee, but no further payment will be charged. After the rigging has started: Booking fee will not be refunded, but payments that came after will be refunded after deducting the processing fees of any work hoursCancelling is not allowed after the work is completed.

If for some reason your PayPal account isn't working or authorizes a refund request without you knowing somehow, you must contact me as soon as possible in order to resolve the issue.
Issuing a chargeback without contacting me to cancel/refund a project will result in immediate blacklisting for you.
Absolutely don't ever issue a chargeback to my PayPal. Doing so can compromise all of my finances, my PayPal, my bank account, the failure of automatic bill payments, etc.
If you absolutely need to cancel a project you MUST contact me for a refund.

Deadlines

The client has to always inform me of any deadlines they have before the commission starts.

Work Speed

I'll try to finish your commission as fast as I can, however be patient with me.
Default time I need to finish a rigging commission is 2-3 months. Normally I need around 1-4 weeks to finish an animated illustration and 2-3 days (per emote) to finish an emote animation, depending on the complexity this could increase (this only applies for when I start your commission).

Work Updates

During the work process I will be consistently updating the client with WIPs.For rigging commissions, I will also provide multiple test files for the client to try out the tracking for themselves, as well as my own tracking settings as a base.

Crediting

I require to be credited on any form of social media that you will be using your v-tuber model on. This includes things like your twitter bio or twitch panels. For animations, it is enough to credit me in your twitch panels, youtube description, etc. depending on whatever platform you use.Posting any deliverables received by me, requires you to give credit to me.If you really want to not disclose any of my credits, you will have to pay an additional privacy fee.

Rights of Withdrawal

I reserve the right to...☆ ...deny working on any commission.
☆ ...withdraw from any commission and issue a refund.

Payment

☆ Payment has to be made through PayPal
☆ Payment has to be made in EUR
☆ Final price has to be decided by evaluating the provided .psd/.png
☆ Final price includes a 5% goods and services tax
☆ Booking fee has to be paid to be put on the to-do list
☆ Half of the full payment has to be made before I start working and the other half until the end of the commission (except if a payment plan has been agreed upon)
☆ Until payment is made in full, I have the right to keep the final files to myself, until sufficient payment has been made

during commission

Client must remain communicative to ensure that progress can be continuously made till the deliverable date. Should the Client provide a non-communicative stand within the duration of 14 days, I have the right to terminate the project without any refunds.Client must take into consideration that I may not respond immediately. Please allow a response time of up to 7 working days.

Revisions

After the first version of the model has been sent, the client has a 14 day period to request any revisions.Any further revisions will be considered on a case by case basis.

By commissioning me, it means you have read and accepted all the terms outlined above. Here you'll agree to the policy of using the animation for personal, non-profit purposes, unless otherwhise stated and provide all credits to me.
Violaters will be added to my blacklist without any warnings either temporary or permanently.
Thank you for wanting to commission me!
